'I Still Need One More Player Before The Transfer Window Closes' - Jose Mourinho

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has praised the club for getting three new players this summer, but says he wants one more player before the transfer window closes.

Speaking after their 2-1 win over Sampdoria on Wednesday night, Mourinho insisted that every player in his squad was in his plan, but admits he is eyeing one more arrival.

“Everybody is in the plan. The plan is to have a good squad, not just a good team. Lukaku, Martial, Rashford – we need everybody.


“The club did a fantastic job by getting 3 players. I thank the club. I’ll be happier if they give me 4, but they did a great effort,” he said.

Nemanja Matic arrived this week from Chelsea, but Mourinho is believed to be keen on a wide midfielder

United has been linked with Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
