Senator Kanti Bello dies at 72

Senator Kanti Bello, a two-time senator from Katsina North has reportedly died at the age of 72.

According to a statement released by the brother of the deceased, he died in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the Federal Capital  City, Abuja.

Faskari, in a statement said “I am directed to inform everybody that we lost Senator Kanti Bello early hours of this mourning (Tuesday) at Abuja. Burial arrangement will be announced later.”

Born in January 1945, Bello was the pioneer Managing Director of Katsina Rolling Mill, he also served as Katsina state deputy governor and as a Senator representing Katsina north senatorial district at the National Assembly from 2003 - 2011.
