Suya seller arrested in the process of killing a 4-year-old for meat

A 35-year old Alliu Abdullahi, who is a Suya Seller has been arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police command for allegedly attempting to Slaughter a four-year-old girl for Suya.

The Suspect had allegedly abducted the the girl at white Sand area of Ebutte Metta while she was playing with other children in an open Field.

But while he took her to a secluded area to be slaughtered, Luck ran out of him, and a man saw himand raised alarm which attracted members of the public.

Abdullahi, in an attempt to resist arrest, stabbed one person,

Commissioner of Police (At the time of the arrest), Mr Fatai Owoseni, who confirmed the incident to newsmen said that the Good Samaritans succeeded in rescuing the victim from the grip of the suspect.

He said that one of the Good Samaritans in an attempt to disarm the suspect sustained minor injury on his hand. He said:

“The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Police at Denton Police Station, Oyingbo. Police investigation revealed that the suspect had abducted the little girl from where she was playing with her friends with the sole intension of slaughtering her. It is a clear case of kidnap and attempted murder.

“The child has been reunited with her mother, while the kidnapper and would-be murderer will be arraigned in court.”
