Ambode unveils giant Obafemi Awolowo's statue (Photos)

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state has unveiled a new statue of Chief Obafemi Awolowo.



Wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo was in attendance as Ambode unveiled her grand-father,'s iconic statue in the state.

The huge statue is loacted at the intersection of Lateef Jakande Road and Obafemi Awolowo Way.

According to Ambode, 'Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s legacies and landmark achievements, have endured and remain a source of inspiration for progressive leadership in the country'.
