Flood takes over Owerri, Imo state
Many residents in Imo state, Thursday were forced out of their houses following heavy downpour, Vanguard reports.
The rain which started from 6am stopped around 2pm.
Some properties, vehicles as well as buildings had been submerged by the rains.
The areas included, Uratta Toronto junction, World bank, Wethedral road, IMSU junction, Chukwuma Nwoha, Orji road, Akwakuma/Amakohia road, Old Okigwe road, Amaraku roundabout in Isiala Mbano local government, Amakohia ubi road, Irete/Ndegwu road all in Owerri west local government among others.
