Kogi State Polytechnic students go on rampage after Dangote truck crushed one of them to death

Students of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja have taken to the Lokoja-Abuja highway to protest after one of their colleagues was crushed to death by a truck belonging to Dangote company.

Five people reportedly died in the accident, one of whom was a student of Kogi State Polytechnic.

This angered students and they began rioting at the international market, along Lokoja-Abuja highway.

According to reports from students of the institution on Facebook, the Kogi State Polytechnic student killed in the accident was a female student who was about to cross the road on her way to school for an examination when the trailer's brake failed and crushed her.
