FIFA fines Nigeria $31,000 for crowd disorder
FIFA has fined Nigeria football federation (NFF) $31,000 for the conduct of her fans in last month’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon.
The match held in Uyo on September 1st and Super Eagles won 4-0.
The German football federation was also fined 32,000 Swiss francs ($33,000) because fans chanted Nazii slogans at a World Cup qualifying game in the Czech Republic.
“The range of charges against Germany included fans encroaching on the field and setting off fireworks at the game in Prague,” FIFA said.
Meanwhile, training has started in Uyo for the crucial Nigeria Vs Zambia match on Saturday, October 7th.
