Emmerson Mnangagwa sworn-in as Zimbabwe's new president
Former vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, 75, on Friday, November 24th, took his oath of office as the new president of Zimbabwe at a stadium in Harare.
He succeeded ousted Robert Mugabe.
Widely known as, “the Crocodile,” Mnangagwa was all smiles as he was sworn in.
Mnangagwa has been with Mugabe since 1976. He was the chief hatchet man for Mugabe on and off for 40 years.
He was also the vice president until he was fired by Mugabe for not being loyal.
