Imo state governor, Okorocha reveals the amount spent on each statue

Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha on Electronic Media, Dr. Ebere Nzeworji, has revealed the cost of each of the statues of some African leaders erected in the state capital, Owerri.

According to him, each of the statues cost between N400,000 and N500,000.

He was reacting to reports that N520 million was spent on each.

The Governor’s aide said “it was not true that millions were spent on erecting statue.”
