Kaduna state commissioner for Education, Jonathan Nok dies at 55
The commissioner for Education in Kaduna state, Professor Andrew Jonathan Nok is dead.
The commissioner died at the early hours of Tuesday, November 21st.
He died at the age of 55. He was born on 11th February 1962 in Nok village in Jaba local government area of Kaduna state.
Nok is a Nigerian Professor of Biochemistry Public affairs secretary of the Nigerian Academy of Science.
In 2010, he was a recipient of the Nigerian National Order of Merit Award in the Science category.
He was the 2013 winner of the Alexander von Humboldt prize for science.
