Photos: President Buhari receives Oba of Benin at the presidential villa

Preaident Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, 23rd November, received the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N'Oba Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare ll at the state house in Abuja.

The Oba was accompanied on the visit by his wives and some members of his cabinet.

Via his verified Twitter handle, President Buhari wrote;

"Today I received the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II. I have great respect and admiration for the Eweka Dynasty of Benin Kingdom. From the colonial era till now they have consistently played a stabilizing role in the affairs of Nigeria."
