'Nigeria will stop importing and exporting petrol in 2019' - Reno Omokri reacts
Former media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to a statement credited to President Buhari's media aide, Femi Adeshina that in 2019, Nigeria will stop exporting and importing petrol (Premium Motor Spirit, PMS).
Femi Adeshina made the statement on a live programme on Channels Television.
Via his verified Twitter handle, Reno who is a critic of the Buhari administration wrote; "The Buhari administration hasn't built a single refinery. They have not repaired the old ones and yet, Femi Adeshina went on TV to say Nigeria will stop importing fuel by 2019. If you believe that, then ask Buhari if he has made Naira equal to the Dollar as he promised during the campaigns."
