'Short man devil' - FFK blasts VP Osinbajo for saying $1bn to be withdrawn from Excess Crude Account is not meant for fighting only Boko Haram
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode FFK, took to Twitter to blast Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who on Monday said that the $1 billion that is to be withdrawn from the Excess Crude Account ECA is not only meant for the fight against Boko Haram.
Reactions have been trailing the approval for the money to be withdrawn from the ECA. Governor Fayose and the PDP have all spoken against the withdrawal.
On Monday, Vice President Osinbajo said the money is meant to be used to fight security challenges Nationwide.
Recall that the Sixteen (16) Local Government Chairmen in Ekiti state dragged Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and the 36 state governors to court for approving the withdrawal of $1bn from the Excess Crude Account.
FFK wrote on his Twitter handle, "$1 billion from the Excess Crude Account is not for fighting Boko Haram only - VP Yemi Osinbajo.
True 99% of the money is for buying toilet paper, soap and air freshner at the Presidential Villa whilst the remaining 1% is for fighting Boko Haram.
