Fani-Kayode reacts to President Buhari's statement on giving the Igbos four ministerial slots even though they only gave him 198k votes in 2015

Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to a statement President Muhammadu Buhari made when he met with some APC chiefs at the state house on Thursday.


President Buhari said he gave the South East four ministers even with the fact that he only got about 190,000 votes from the zone in the 2015 Presidential election. Read the full story here.





FFK via his Twitter handle wrote; "Buhari did not do the people of the SE a favour by giving them four Ministers: it is their constitutional right to have those positions. So whether they gave him 198K votes or no votes at all he is compelled by law to give each state in the south-east at least one Minster each."
