Herdsmen killings: President Buhari meets delegations from Benue state (Photos)

On Monday, January 15th, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari met with some delegations from Benue state led by the state governor, Samuel Ortom.


The delegation included, Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, Benue Elders - State Govt officials, Present and past public office holders, Traditional Rulers, Members of the National Assembly.




Sharing photos from the meeting on his official Twitter handle, President Buhari wrote; "I have just finished a meeting with stakeholders from Benue State. My message to them: I will fully keep the oath I swore to protect all Nigerians. The Police, Army and DSS are working hard to keep Benue safe, and to bring all the perpetrators of the killings to justice."

Recall that last week, President Muhammadu Buhari also met with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state on the killings of some citizens by the Fulani herdsmen.

The President met with them shortly after the Armed Forces Remembrance Ceremony.
