Singer, Mary J. Blige's husband demands additional $35k a month from her

Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, the estranged husband of singer Mary J Blige, has revealed that the divorce proceedings has sent him to the hospital.

As he continues his plea for more spousal support from his estranged wife, he has filed new docs to document his distress.

In docs obtained by The Blast, Isaacs says he has “experienced physical manifestations of stress and emotional distress from this matter, which has caused him to become hospitalized.”

The fact that he’s going broke without Blige’s financial support, paying rent has become “impossible” for him, the publication reports.

In addition, Isaacs claims he is “unemployable,” so he needs an additional $35,000 from Blige, on top of the $30,000 she’s already paying. 

Although a judge has since shot down his request, the two will argue it out on trial in March.
