Super Eagles defeat Libya 1 - 0 #CHAN2018

The Super Eagles of Nigeria secured their first win at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN), with a narrow 1-0 victory over former winners, Libya on Friday evening.

The first half ended goal less, with both teams struggling to open the scoring.





However, Sunday Faleye scored for Nigeria at the 79th minute.

The win takes the Super Eagles to four points from two matches, after Salisu Yusuf’s men drew their first game with Rwanda.

Libya are second with three points.

Nigeria’s last group game is against Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday, while Libya battle Rwanda simultaneously.
