Breaking: France wins 2018 World Cup
France has won the 2018 FIFA World Cup after defeating Croatia 4-2 in the finals in Moscow, Russia.
The first goal of France was an own goal scored by M. Manduzukic at the 18th minute, the second goal was a penalty by A. Griezmann at the 38th minute, the third goal was from Paul Pogba at the 59th minute and the last goal was from 19-year old K. Mbappe at the 65th minute.
The two goal by Croatia was scored by I. Perisic at the 28th minute and M. Manduzukic at the 69th minute.
Some VIPs present at the stadium in Moscow, Russia to watch the match were, Russian President, Vladimir Putin, French President, Emmanuel Macron, President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and FIFA President, Gianni Infantino.
It is the second time France will win the FIFA World Cup. The first time was in 1998.
