Breaking: NBC shuts down Ekiti state broadcasting Service for breaching broadcasting code

The National Broadcasting Commission NBC has shut down indefinitely the Ekiti State Broadcasting service for breaching electoral act and provision of the broadcasting code.

This is coming after Ekiti state governor, Chief Peter Ayodele Fayose illegally declared fake election results in favour of the PDP governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka.

Governor Fayose was also alleged to have made some inciting statements against INEC and the Security operatives.

The broadcasting service will remain shut until further notice.

Meanwhile, elections are over in Ekiti as at the time of writing this report and the results are being collated and it will be announced soon.
