Gov. Fayemi attends the funeral of the seven air force officers who died in the Sunday plane crash (photos)

 

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state today, 25th February, 2021, attended the burial ceremony of the seven Nigerian Air Force officers, including late Flight Sergent Olasunkanmi Olawunmi from Ogotun-Ekiti, at the National Military Cementary in Abuja. 

In attendance were, Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, other Service Chiefs led by the Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Lucky Irabor, and relatives of the late officers.

 

May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may their families and loved ones receive God's comfort. Amen.

Officers who died in the plane crash are; Captain, Fl Lt. Haruna Gadzama; Fl. Lt. Henry Piyo (Co-Pilot); Flying Officer Micheal Okpara (Airborne Tactical Observation System Specialist), Warrant Officer Bassey Etim (ATOS Specialist); Fl. Sgt. Olasunkanmi Olawunmi (ATOS Specialist); Sgt. Ugochukwu Oluka (ATOS Specialist) and Aircraftman Adewale Johnson (Onboard Technician).
